A kitten design from DMC's Kids Craft range, printed in colour on canvas with large holes. The child only has to match the yarn to the printed colour and work one diagonal stitch at a time, which makes it a relaxed introduction to needlework and a sweet gift for a cat-loving child.
- Fabric: Canvas printed in colour, with large holes
- Thread: Yarn in the colours of the design
- Technique: Half stitch (tapestry) on printed canvas, no chart or counting
- In the box: Printed canvas, yarn and a blunt needle with a large eye
- You'll also need: Child-safe scissors
Show your child how to bring the needle up and go down in the next hole on the diagonal; that is the whole technique.
