DMC Silicone Handle Crochet Hook
A crochet hook with a silicone handle over a metal shaft.
The silicone is there to spread your grip. A bare metal hook is held between two fingers and a thumb, and after an hour that is where the ache is. A moulded handle puts the pressure across the palm instead.
The hook head itself is metal, so it keeps a clean shape and slides through the stitch.
