Estimated from this yarn's own thickness for a knitted project at the sizes shown. Crochet uses more: roughly 25–30% more in double crochet, and up to about 60% more in dense single crochet. Your pattern's yardage always wins — buy from one dye lot.
DMC Magnum Colorful Yarn
DMC Magnum Colorful is a chunky 100% acrylic in a very large ball: 592 m on 400 g. That is enough for a blanket or throw from a single ball, with no joins and no dye lots to match.
The color changes along the strand, so simple stitches produce the pattern.
- Blend: 100% acrylic
- Weight: Chunky
- Ball: 400 g, 592 m
- Needles: 7 mm
- Hook: 6 mm
Work from the centre of the ball so it doesn't roll across the floor.
