Two cacti printed on evenweave and stitched in DMC Pearl Cotton no. 5, in seven colors supplied as cut lengths on a perforated card. It's from DMC's Happiness and Love range, rated beginner.
It makes a good first freestyle piece. The printed outline does the drawing, and the design takes you through seven stitches: French knot, satin, back stitch, straight, chain, stem and lazy daisy. Pearl Cotton is thick, so progress is quick.

Take each color off the card only as you need it, so the lengths stay in order.
