The thicker version of DMC Diamant, for metallic stitching that is meant to stand out.
A larger diameter gives more shine and fuller coverage per stitch, so outlines, lettering and bold motifs fill in with fewer passes than standard Diamant needs. Choose standard Diamant for fine sparkle in cross stitch and Grande for surface embroidery and statement details.
Use a needle with a generous eye, such as a chenille needle, so the thread does not scuff on its way through the fabric.
