Myrtle is John Henry Dearle's design for Morris & Co, a twining pattern of leaves and flowers in the William Morris manner. DMC's V&A kit works it as a round design, and the wooden hoop it comes with becomes the frame, so there is nothing else to buy for hanging. A lovely gift for anyone who loves Arts and Crafts pattern.

- Technique: Cross stitch with backstitch outlining
- In the box: Aida, pre-sorted threads, 18 cm wooden hoop, needle, chart and instructions
- You'll also need: Embroidery scissors
To finish, trim the fabric 2 cm beyond the hoop and run a gathering thread to pull it neatly round the back.
