Mindful Making is DMC's range built around the idea that repetitive handwork settles the mind. DMC describe it as kits designed to slow the mind and centre the spirit, focusing on achievable pieces with simple, joyfully repetitive designs - and each one is sized so you finish it, which matters more than it sounds.

- Yarn: 4 balls of DMC Baby Cotton, 20 g each
- Hook: 3.5 mm - included
- Also included: Sewing needle, a pack of 10 stitch markers, and step-by-step instructions

- Time to make: Around 12 hours
- Care: Wash at 40C on a very gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Wash dark colours separately
DMC note that the coasters use a variety of different stitches and knots, which makes this the most instructive of the three kits - you come out of it having learned more than one thing. It is also the only one of the three that includes stitch markers, and mandala work in the round is exactly where you need them.
Shipping fee is just KSh350 for deliveries within Nairobi and KSh700 for deliveries outside of Nairobi. You will receive your order within 4 business days.
