Clover Double-Ended Stitch Holder
A stitch holder that opens at both ends, so stitches can be slid off the end they went on from. That keeps them facing the direction you were working and avoids the twisted stitches you get when a closed holder forces you to work back along the row.
Used for setting stitches aside while you work elsewhere on a garment: shoulder stitches, thumb gussets on mittens, sleeve stitches held while the body is finished, and neckline stitches waiting for a collar. The finish is smooth so it passes through the loops without splitting the yarn.
