Alize Cotton Gold is a cotton and acrylic blend, 100 g to a ball and 330 m to the ball. Just over half of it is cotton, so it breathes and takes a stitch cleanly. The acrylic keeps it from going limp and means it can go in the machine.
It is the usual choice here for amigurumi. Small tight stitches, no fuzz, and the shape holds after stuffing.
Around 400 g makes a woman's jumper.
